Project Overview:
The Woodland Way Residential Extension and Alteration Project aimed to enhance and maximize the potential of an existing property in Purley. The works included a two-storey rear extension, a two-storey side extension, a single-storey front extension, a loft conversion, and internal and external alterations. The project also includes the incorporation of a granny annexe with a bedroom, bathroom, living room, and kitchenette. Additionally, an in and out driveway was carefully constructed to provide easy access to the property.
Extension & Alteration Architectural Design:
Ground Floor Extensions and Alterations:
A granny annexe was incorporated, featuring a spacious bedroom, a well-equipped bathroom, and a comfortable living room with a kitchenette. A new front porch entrance was designed to enhance the character of the building and create an inviting and definitive entrance for visitors.
An open-plan kitchen/dining/living room the focal point of the ground floor, promoting a modern and spacious ambiance for family gatherings and entertaining.
First Floor Optimization:
The internal layout of the first floor was thoroughly examined to identify opportunities for maximizing space. This involved reconfiguring room locations and optimizing room sizes to improve flow and functionality.
Second Floor Transformation:
The second floor was utilized to accommodate various needs of the family. A study area/flexible living space/games room was carefully created, providing a versatile area for work, leisure, and recreational activities.
In and Out Driveway:
An in and out driveway was implemented to facilitate easy access to the property, with the design enhancing convenience.
